The real time recording of this blogcast is April 2024, a day or so ago here on the east coast of the United States where we experienced an earthquake, the magnitude of 4.8 felt strongest along the New York, New Jersey corrider.
I was recording in my studio and I felt the tremor. I remember pausing for a moment wondering, “What’s this?” Then I decided to readjust my posture in the chair (as though that was the problem) and I continued recording.
Then I noticed my screen was vibrating. I watched it for a moment or so and then shifted my attention back to my work.
About half hour later I went on social media to post the recording and I noticed people buzzing about an earthquake. I thought, Oh my, is that what that was. I was so immersed in my work, I’d forgotten all about what I felt and the moment of curiosity.
I hurried down the hall to my husband’s office. He was working and had noticed nothing and felt nothing. He barely looked up from his work and didn’t ask a single question.
Throughout the rest of the day there were social media posts asking us to mark ourselves safe, personal calls, and text messages.
I sent out texts to my loved ones and everyone was okay.
The interesting thing was the varied responses I observed. Some, of course heard and felt nothing. Others were shaken and frightened. And others were joking about it.
Think about that. One rather small geographic area, one event, an earthquake for just a few moments elicited a myriad of emotions and reactions.
I laughed at myself as I paid no attention to my own response because when I’m in my zone working, I’m fully not present to much of anything around me.
I often have side conversations with Spirit, so I said, “So what was that about? What does my higher self want me to notice about this event?
What immediately stood out for me is the varied reactions. While I believe wholeheartedly in the Law of Oneness, the unity of humanity and Oneness with God, we perceive the world differently and express ourselves in reaction to any single event, idea, or ideology differently.
There wasn’t one way to respond to the earthquake. Some people I spoke to actually experienced fear in the moment and fear in what might happen in the future. I had to speak and respond to each one differently.
I didn’t tell the jokesters they should take it more seriously, or those who were fearful that they should have more faith. I was a pastor for 30+ yrs. I know the appropriate scriptures.
But what helps in the moment is not pontificating should and shouldn’ts.
It’s about and is always about the person and where they are in the moment.
I laughed with the jokesters easily because honestly that’s where I personally fit in.
But I felt the imbalance in others who experienced fear and I couldn’t joke with them.
I felt a connection, a sense of unity of some kind with them.
That was seeing, being conscious – up close and personal with the Law of Divine Oneness.
We’re made in the image of God so there is a connection at the Divine level that speaks to everything if we would allow ourselves to comprehend it. Yet we’re yet individualized in how we show up in the world.
When I view it from the perspective of divine connection, divine unity, divine oneness, there’s such an admiration for each and an awe in how Infinite Intelligence was able to pull that off in the creation work.

Divine Beloveds, things aren’t shifting. They’ve already shifted. The world is different and will never be the same.
Was the shift sudden. Not at all. There were signs and wonders all along the way.
Too many people get comfortable living in their own little worlds and miss the bigger things, opportunities, possibilities divinely available to us.
Everything is new and requires that we meet it at a higher level of consciousness and spiritual awareness.
That’s my work, my purpose. That’s what I came here to do; to help you know and live in your higher self, your highest level of spiritual consciousness.
